We’ve done many guided snorkel trips and this was our best experience with guides ever — they found the perfect balance of being educational and allowing us to explore independently. The housekeeping was flawless and the towel art made us smile every day. The food and dining staff were also totally amazing. The Jetty bar was one of our biggest highlights — such a stunning spot to watch the sunset with fantastic drinks. Overall the experience at Wakatobi was flawless, and it was a joy to meet so many staff who seem truly happy to be here. We hope to come back soon!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Wakatobi and are already planning our next visit. The entirety of the staff provided exceptional service and truly made you feel special. Our dive guide was exceptional and the best dive master we have dived with — planning our dives perfectly and well versed in the reef fauna, finding the smallest of creatures for our enjoyment. The kitchen staff always knew us by name and were always at our service. Our butler would meet us every evening and ask about our day or if there was anything he could do for us. This is truly a special place.

Wakatobi Dive Resort truly lives up to its luxury reputation. From the meet and greet at the airport to the accommodations, diving, and the entire Wakatobi team, the whole experience was second to none. The restaurant staff are incredible, and the diving experience is without doubt exceptional. The dive team takes care of everything, and the full porter service means you don’t need to lift a finger—the most strenuous part of any dive is putting on your wetsuit! Wakatobi is a diver’s delight with a strong environmental conscience.

I have travelled all over the world scuba diving, and the type of attention you get here is second to NONE. The service is fantastic, and you never need to do anything. You are waited on hand and foot. The wait staff in the restaurant are so great, and it is unbelievable that within 30 minutes of arriving, everyone knows your name. Don’t change a thing!!! The dive master and the boat crew did an excellent job, and you never had to ask for anything. They were always there with a helping hand. Top-notch crew and dive master. Thank you for making my stay here at Wakatobi an unforgettable trip. I will talk about this place for years. I am so sad that you are so far away from the USA, or I would be here every year. Thank you for an amazing stay here at Wakatobi. Your staff is exceptional— so warm, kind, and professional. They made us feel so welcome and took such good care of us. Their attention to detail was exceptional.

What an amazing experience! The reefs and the water were stunning, obviously. My instructor/guide was attentive, concerned, and simply the best 😊. After observing the other dive guides on our boat, I can see why Wakatobi is one of the best in the world. The dive guides were so absorbed in the guests’ world’ and listening to them excitedly discuss the creatures and fish they saw on each dive was inspiring. They demonstrate what sets Wakatobi apart, and the resort should be proud of them. Apart from the diving staff, the boat crews always made me feel welcome. In the restaurant, I loved talking to the staff, and they always remembered my name. The food was excellent! Housekeeping was on point! The resort is so well managed, and everyone takes pride in their jobs. I would love to return in the future to this incredible paradise!

We have had a wonderful stay. Beautiful accommodations. Wonderful, attentive—but not overly so—staff. Service beyond compare. Every staff person was wonderful. I need to particularly mention our dive guide, who was exceptional—so careful to show us everything we asked to see. The team helping with our gear and equipment on the boat was wonderful as well (as were all the boat heroes). The team supporting us in our villa was especially great at meeting all our needs, always with a smile. All the butlers are great too. Restaurant staff were terrific. We were here about 17 years ago (2009). It was good then, but truly exceptional now. Thank you so very much for a wonderful stay.

5 stars all the way from arrival at the domestic terminal until the end! I love all the staff, especially at the restaurant with fabulous food presentation and taste!! I had the best snorkel guide along with the rest of the crew, another 5 stars. Keep doing what you do. Nobody does it better!! Endless hospitality is a challenge to create. We enjoyed our holidays on this beautiful island so much! Extremely friendly staff who know what you want before you say it. Room service was so lovely, with towel figures every day. Compliments to the delicious kitchen—fresh, local, and varied. Perfectly organized staff on the boats and with the boxes, also for snorkelers with individual lunch boxes. The reef is more than great, and we saw every day that you care for it. We appreciated your daily beach and water cleaning, even with sometimes difficult circumstances, as plastic passes by from other islands. It is perfect that you care for your island. We will be back one day!!! Terima kasih!

My heartfelt compliments go out to the founders and owners of this resort. I am a communication trainer and therefore frequently work in the service industry, which is why it was fascinating for me to experience 10 days of genuine and perfectly thought-out service here, without ever feeling like it was just “service.” It was delivered with such authenticity that it clearly brought joy to the staff themselves. A very well-thought-out concept down to the smallest details (e.g., “Passion” on the name tag or being addressed by name again and again as a guest). A friend who introduced us to this resort and I agree that the standards here set the bar very high for others—premium across the board. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish all future guests and the team a wonderful time.
