The Longhouse is the location for a number of amenities which will enhance your Wakatobi experience, including the Library, the Media Room, our Boutique and gift shop, and the Longhouse lounge.
Browse for a while in the Library
The library, which is located in the Longhouse, is a relaxing space where you can sit in air-conditioned comfort and read, books (which you may also borrow) from the library shelves. Books cover fish identification and marine life as well as broader geographic topics and fiction.
Take in a marine wildlife show in the Media Room
The media room is the venue for the popular marine wildlife shows which are held regularly in the evenings, It is equipped with with rowed-seating as well as digital projector and sound system.
Souvenirs, gifts and essentials
Wakatobi has a fully stocked boutique and gift shop in the resort. Here you will find a wide selection of T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, casual clothing, silver jewellery, hats and other logo wear. We also have some diving accessories, local souvenirs, postcards and a selection of personal items that you might need while staying at the resort. Come in and browse when you wish to take a break from diving.
Relax over a drink in the Longhouse lounge
The Longhouse Lounge is a shaded open air area with comfortable seating and a cooling breeze. A range of hot drinks as well as cookies are available self-service as well as soft and alcoholic drinks from the drinks menu upon request. Freshly prepared snacks are served here in the afternoon.
