You’ll have a great time, but don’t take our word for it…

I waited 10 years for the ability to visit Wakatobi Dive Resort. Now that I know what it is like to be here, the resort and dive experiences have raised the bar so high that I do not ever want to go anywhere else but here. I will return!

Wakatobi sets the bar for everything. First & most important, is the staff from the dive or snorkel team, to the restaurant employees, the gardeners, to the boat handlers. Everything the staff did was performed with a big smile, joy on their face, and welcoming warmth, always ready to answer questions and determined to make my visit the best ever. Second, the House Reef is spectacular! One of a kind perhaps—Snorkeling it is therapy for the soul. So clear and healthy. The boat trips were all great. I was a bit unsure how it would be, but my guide made every trip comfortable. He cared about my well-being, identifying fish on the boat and getting super excited when he spotted turtles & sea snakes! And watching the blue-spotted ribbon tail ray for 5 minutes on the house reef was a highlight. Lastly, the food was out-of-this-world amazing! The freshness, the presentation, the variety, the consistent overall high quality did not disappoint!

I googled “best luxury dive resort in the world” and Wakatobi popped up. Google didn’t lie, this place is amazing & the diving is beyond description!

A true slice of paradise in SE Sulawesi not to be missed!

Everything was really nice, it has created for us unforgettable moments and souvenirs. We hope to come back with our kids soon. Special thanks to all the staff for their kindness and availability. Amazing. Thank you. Charming resort in a magical location. Bungalows are very comfortable with a high level of service. It is however quite an expensive experience. Staff was very nice, whether at the restaurant or when snorkeling. Thank you for this superb stay!

Staff was amazing! So kind and attentive.Food was awesome. Best food I have eaten in Indonesia!.Diving was great. I had 29 dives and each one was a gem. Brooks was a great guide and found lots of little stuff for us. He knew all the fish and where to find him. The boat crew was VERY helpful with gear. The service was sensational. The food was fantastic. The diving was divine. Best dive vacation ever! (29 dives 😊). Five-star dive, hotel, and food!

This is a special place, of course for the diving, but what truly makes it special are the staff and resort. Every detail is looked after and it is 5 stars experience from the moment we landed in Bali. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The best scuba dives, best food and service!

Our second stay was also absolutely flawless. Everything here is special! Huge praise to the founder, Lorenz Maeder, who has succeeded in creating a concept focused on conservation and sustainability. We are planning a third visit—The soul needs a place like Wakatobi with the people we met here.

Dear Wakatobi Team, We felt very comfortable from the very first minute and were given a warm welcome. Our stay with you exceeded our expectations and was very warm and courteous in every respect. Whether at the diving school or at reception, as well as at the spa and in the restaurant. Nevertheless, we had more contact with a few individuals who made a very positive impression on us, however we would like to mention that everyone was really very nice and friendly (including the gardeners, room service, etc.)

Lovely experience. The room had excellent drip coffee by the cup. Soft cotton sheets are such a treat. Cold sodas in the room refrigerator very welcome. The dive experience was the best in my 20 plus years of diving. Spacious dive boat.

All my gear prepped and ready on my arrival on the boat. Boat staff assisting every transfer from seat to long stride into the water & even lifting my tank & BC from the water up onto the boat. Warm beverages offered after each dive. My guide was outstanding. Finding the small underwater treasures & providing on excellent dive brief. I appreciate that each dive he did a buddy check when I was his partner.

As I have been multiple times, my feedback is only excellent. The resort and all the staff are extremely welcoming and the philosophy and the execution are all fantastic.

Hope to return to experience again before long. There’s a reason I keep coming back. The team and operation are all top notch! Can’t wait to return again.
