What can we say other than absolutely amazing! We have never been to any resort, diving or otherwise, that offers the level of care and luxury we experienced on the beautiful Pelagian. The meals were fabulous, fresh, delicious and bountiful, and the chef’s crispy morning hash browns were a favorite. The diving was excellent and varied, and my husband appreciated the guidance and care of the dive staff. He has come away a better-educated, more skilled and far more relaxed diver. I really enjoyed the snorkeling and had no idea reefs could look like that. But it is your staff who shine. I cannot give them enough compliments, and I only wish they knew how much their care and kindness have meant to us, always with a smile and their special way. Our hosts looked after our every need immediately, and we benefited every day from their knowledge and experience. When we read the online comments about Wakatobi, we took them with a grain of salt, but now we realize the Wakatobi Way is a truly wonderful thing. Thank you to everybody on board for a most memorable holiday. We love the Wakatobi Way!

If you want the luxury of having no one else around, you can’t beat the Pelagian. It was so special having private, small-group access to some of Indonesia’s reefs. A huge thank you to the entire Pelagian team for having us on board to explore Wakatobi’s more far-flung reefs. We were really impressed by the stunning health of the corals, and the whole team looked after us beautifully. The food was delicious, and each and every staff member did so much to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

An exceptional crew from start to finish! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly attentive, they went above and beyond to make every dive and every moment on board special. Their teamwork and dedication truly made this an unforgettable liveaboard experience. We felt spoiled the entire trip. Five stars all around. We can’t wait to come back and dive with this amazing crew again!

Our hosts are outstanding as hosts and guides. The crew catered to every need, and the food was excellent. This was my first liveaboard experience, and it was great. Sorry, but I have no suggestions for improvement.

The Pelagian’s team was very pleasant. They gave detailed, informative briefings before each dive and managed the schedule very well. The crew was helpful and friendly, anticipating and offering assistance before it was even needed. The training and knowledge-building session after the third dive was informative and entertaining, and there was an excellent meal selection, delicious food and a very good choice of beverages.

Excellent service, attention to detail, and very well organized. I loved that written schedules were provided for the transfer from the resort to the Pelagian and for departure. Seeing how smoothly the luggage was handled removed any potential stress. Hot scented towels after a dive were a real treat. Extremely pleased!

If you’re a diver, you cannot miss this place. Another fantastic trip on the Pelagian. Like last time, the service was fantastic, the food was great and the diving was amazing.

This place is a very special place on earth. Each day here I fell more in love with the ocean. Each dive we did I was like… can it get better than this? And it did. This place has the most pristine coral wilderness that the planet has to offer. Please continue to take care of the coral here so that future generations can see what we saw here. We are sad to leave. Food was delicious, the staff was so nice and attentive. Everyone was so nice. We thought it was so impressive that everyone knew our names. Accommodations were also so amazing – we loved our bungalow, and the towel animals were such a nice touch. A massive thank you to our dive guide! He is the nicest and best dive guide we have ever had. When we come back we need to have him again. He is so knowledgeable, super accommodating, friendly, and funny. Everyone was amazing. Special shout-out to one team member in particular, who has the most beautiful, sweet energy. We loved him. He took such special care of us. We will miss him and all the other lovely staff.
