The Wakatobi Dive Resort team makes everything easy so you can sit back, relax, focus on diving, and enjoy delicious meals afterwards. I only wish I’d had more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Once again, we had a wonderful trip to the resort.

It began when we arrived at the airport and we were greeted by staff that helped us get our bags, go through customs & through the Visa line. Yes! Three days later once again we were met at the airport to come here. Easy peasy for us. Lovely breakfast & on to our destination. The resort is staffed with the most incredible people. From the gardeners all the way up to the management people are eager to smile, say a kind word and are extremely helpful. The people (staff) can make or break an experience. They make it for me. Lovely gardens, incredible foods, comfortable beds and down pillows. Happy guest!! Boats for diving are the best we have been on. We love the dive staff. From the men that fill the tanks, the helpers, the boat crew and of course the dive masters. We were fortunate to have a new dive master— She was absolutely a joy & delight to work with. Upbeat, funny, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to dive with. We loved her! Then we returned to our requested dive master —We love him, he is so ZEN. His years of experience along with his sharp eyes fulfills all of our requested. Sightings and bonuses of other creatures we did not know we wanted to see. Did I say we love him? Between the two of them they really met our dive needs. We will be back!

I really had the best vacation of my life. They take care of everything and pay attention to every detail. All the dive sites are breathtakingly beautiful, especially around house reef. It’s wonderful to maintain such a paradise.

Thank you all so much for the most spectacular vacation. This has been the most welcoming holiday. For diving — the coral was the most beautiful I have ever seen, and the dive guides were calm, patient, and amazing at spotting rare creatures. The dive assistants made every dive fun and effortless. All the restaurant staff and chefs were spectacular, and our villa was clean and stunning. Wakatobi takes great care of their guests, just as they do with the ocean and sustainable resort practices. The friendliness of staff — from gardeners and ground staff to cleaners, dive, and restaurant teams — was above and beyond every place we have ever stayed. We felt extremely welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing, including excellent gluten-free options, drinks, desserts, and traditional Indonesian cuisine. The attention to detail behind the scenes made everything run like clockwork without feeling rushed. Night snorkeling on the house reef was safe and unforgettable, and swimming across multiple beautiful reefs in a single day was truly special. The dive and snorkel teams shared knowledge, tailored experiences to our abilities, and made each excursion memorable. What a really special place.

Spectacular reefs swarming with marine life. Timing of the boats works so seamlessly with meal times allows for shower prior. Wind down & reminisce about the day’s discoveries as you watch the sunset over the water, cocktail in hand.

Lovely time diving at the Pelagian. There is great camaraderie amongst the crew. A well-oiled machine in terms of smooth operations. The entertainment by the crew on our last evening was special. Dive guides are highly skilled & continue to amaze us at their ability to spot the tiniest of creature. A wonderful array of diverse dive sites from the Pelagian!

The diving variety and sea life is second to none and the Pelagian crew go out of their way to make the trip unforgettable. We are definitely coming back!

We really enjoyed the trip on Pelagian. The crew was great, food was great, room was great. The menu was diverse and allowed for mix and match. The diving was good, well organized & the dive staff really took care of us. The best service we have ever experienced on a liveaboard!

The diving was incredible – only outdone by the people.

Excellent dive team, safety and equipment care. Dive sites were nice. My Favorites were Zoo & Roma. Food Was delicious & assortment was amazing. Bungalow was Comfortable and amenities were plentiful!

Everything exceeded my hopeful expectations. The house staff was gracious and attentive, and it truly makes you feel remarkably special when everyone on the resort greets you by name. I have never known a dive guide as talented — their ability to spot is beyond anything I’ve witnessed in 27 years of diving. Astonishing.
