Lovely stay at a tremendous resort. We had an excellent dive master – so knowledgeable, finding so many critters, helpful to me and was so kind. The dive sites were incredibly beautiful with corals and schools of fish that amazed us. The boat crew makes the diving so easy – they are great!!  The hard-working landscapers & grounds keepers make Wakatobi beautiful and pristine. Thank them for us – we see them and appreciate them.

I’ve noticed a tremendous upgrade in all areas since my last visit in 2023. The staff and dive masters on our private boat were exceptional!

We have felt privileged to be a part of the Wakatobi experience.

The Wakatobi Dive Resort is a gorgeous, relaxing, tropical retreat. You will be waited on hand and foot. It is the best place for diving in.

The staffs at Wakatobi are The Superstars. As this is our second visit, we immediately feel like we were coming back to family. Being addressed by name makes it feel special. Food was great like the last time. Diving is beautiful of course. Massages were A plus !

Unparalleled service in the dive and snorkeling operations! The team were very helpful and knowledgeable guides. Exemplary food and service staff. A truly 5 stars resort experience! We will most definitely be back! In summary, staff and guests all seem very happy to be here. I’ve never before been to a resort where the entire staff makes the effort to learn your name!

Our stay at Wakatobi exceeded our expectations. For the first moment of contact with the staff we were well taken care of. We had an amazing dive guide, and the dive center made sure the snorkelers had wonderful underwater experiences too! The support staff for diving and snorkeling were exceptional. They were always willing to help with gear and anything else we needed. The grounds staff really took care of us always with a smiling face. The food was excellent and once again every need was met. We loved every staff member we came in contact with at Wakatobi and look forward to a return trip.

Superb – Go! – Diving is best reef since we dived in Papua New Guinea in the 1980s – we thought we’d dreamed it – wrong! It’s alive and well in Wakatobi!

What sets this resort apart, in addition to the excellent diving, snorkeling, and restaurant food is the outstanding service and attention from the staff – dining room staff and dive guides. Star ratings and adjectives don’t even come close to describing how great this place is, but we’ll try. This is our first experience at a dive resort. We came to brush up on our diving skills but we’re leaving with so much more than that. Wakatobi is simply perfection. The dive or snorkel guides, boat crew, kitchen staff, gardeners, and all those working behind the scenes, all are here to serve the guests and they do it in grand fashion. From our first day here, everyone here knew our names, everyone we encountered was there to help and make our experience memorable. And indeed, it was. We loved this place and highly recommend it to both divers and snorkelers. It’s paradise.

Wakatobi is heaven on earth! And underwater! We can’t say enough about the professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness of all the staff at the resort and the dive teams, who went out of their way to make sure our every need was met and request answered. Moreover, our desires were anticipated by them, and details taken care of and offered up in so many ways. We thoroughly enjoyed extra services such as massages (so luxurious!) and a scooter tour in Tomia, as well as a birding outing. The dive team was amazing – they clearly are focused on the safety of all guests but always make the outings exciting and enjoyable! While in the water, our guide made sure we saw numerous fish and creatures we would have missed. She was also tuned in to all of our needs while snorkeling. She was upbeat, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. We felt we made a friend over the week we spent with her. The accommodations and food/drink at Wakatobi were of the highest quality. Details matter, and every room appointment was well designed and functional. Cleaning and turn down services happened invisibly and always with a creative surprise. The restaurant, and bar staff always knew our names (incredibly!) and were there immediately for anything we needed. Bar and dinning atmospheres were beautiful, and as I said, the food was amazing and different every day. Many of the other guests we met were staying again and some had been multiple times – we can see why! You can count upon our return!! Thank you to every person that works at Wakatobi for making our visit special.
