We loved our stay at Wakatobi both above and below the water! The reefs were mind blowing – words do not do them justice. The staff are true treasures who seem like old friends. We felt very pampered. No wonder Wakatobi has so many repeat guests!

I travel the world and find Wakatobi one of the very best. The service is unparalleled, what a fine resort ought to be, and the dive experience is truly a wonderland. My guide was fabulous, pointed out things I never would have seen, took me to great places and was responsive to my need to refresh my skills. The food was wonderful, with the chef doing all he could to honor my no-garlic request, and a staff that knows everyone’s name and preferences the first night. Keep doing what you are doing.

Wakatobi is the new standard by which we will judge dive resorts. The reefs are exceptional, the facilities are outstanding, but what really sets it apart is the amazing staff!

We had an amazing experience on Pelagian. The crew went out of their way to make us feel special. Good spirits, good feelings. Cabins are high quality with all the comforts. Food was great–super variety and quality. Tender captains are meticulous on details. Dives are, needless to say, fantastic. Guides know the sites intimately; safety is treated seriously without going overboard. We will come back in 2025

Wakatobi exceeded our expectations in all areas. The coral reefs are absolutely pristine and healthy, the snorkeling experience end-to-end is always personalized and pampered, and the food delightful par to none! It has been 20 years since I came to Wakatobi for the first time, and it is still a special place. The attention to detail and staff is like no other. The House Reef is spectacular, and I hope it will not be another 20 years before I come back.

We loved our week at Wakatobi. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The reefs were better than any we have ever seen, and it was fun for snorkelers as well. The grounds and buildings were immaculate. Every possible detail has been attended to, down to what kind of pillow you want. Having the same dive or snorkel guide every day made for good friendships. The entire staff from restaurant to reef knew our names and did whatever they could to make our stay even more pleasant.

This was our second visit to Wakatobi, and first visit on the Pelagian. Everything about the visit was stellar. The staff is just so genuinely friendly and helpful. They are very good at their jobs and really seem to enjoy what they do and also enjoy pleasing their guest. The diving is so amazing- we think it is the best we have ever seen. The dive guides are experienced, and they know the dive sites very well, and even where small critters usually can be found. Safety is a priority, and I always felt that they were watching us and ensuring that we were comfortable.

Pelagian liveaboard is diving for gourmets. I would rate the operation in the upper end of a Michelin 3-star rating.

Pelagian was truly a 7-star diving experience. Pristine reefs bursting with life and a team which is literally the best we have ever experienced. The crew was brilliant, attentive to every detail and focused on making sure everything was perfect.

Wakatobi is the perfect diving vacation. We had excellent customer service through and through. The moment we landed in Bali, the Wakatobi staff were already there to greet us, making the vacation non-stressful. Diving is great, plenty to see. We highly recommend this to those who wants to dive in Indonesia. The last two weeks diving on Pelagian was absolutely fantastic. The beautiful reefs and corals and the variety of sea life was amazing. The Pelagian is one of our favourite diving liveaboards and much of that has to do with the excellent hospitality and customer service provided by Judith, Ramon and the entire team.
