I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Wakatobi. This has been the best resort I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing and I have visited many. The diving was great with an excellent dive and knowledgeable dive staff and boats were all maintained and equipped. I was well taken care of by my dive guide who was excellent. The restaurant and servers were friendly, learned our names on the first days and the food was fantastic. The accommodations were equally great. I will grant my highest recommendation to your resort.

What a lovely place! The bungalows are really pretty and immaculately maintained. I have  a Palm Bungalow all to myself and it feels really spacious. I love the foot cleaning faucets out front – they work great! It just seems like everything is so well thought out. I also love all the space on the dive boats and how every hanger and basket are labelled. The food is great and so many choices. The service is well beyond all that I need. This place is beautiful and so well run—the nicest dive resort that I have ever been to!

As always, Wakatobi stands out as exceptional in the world of dive resort. There have been a lot of welcome improvements since the last time we visited. The food continues to be exceptional – especially considering the remoteness of the island. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful all of the staff are. Love the idea of their name tags saying what their passion is – a great place to start a conversation!

It was a long way to get here, but well worth the trip. Indonesian has long been known for great diving, but Wakatobi Resort makes it even more special. We loved all crew members from house personnel to boat captains and dive guides and especially the grounds crew who care and tend to the pathways, making our walk through the jungle extra nice! What a wonderful resort! You make everyone feel so special. The crew members are so attentive and make sure you get everything you want. Everything was perfect! Thank you!

This is my fourth and my husband’s fifth visit, and we continue to return for a multitude of reasons. As an underwater photographer, my husband especially loves the amazing sea life, and we deeply appreciate Wakatobi’s respect for the natural world and commitment to preserving it for generations to come. The people here bring us back; after many visits, they feel like family. We always look forward to seeing them and catching up on their lives. With every visit, my respect for the resort grows. The food has never been better—so many choices, expertly prepared, with barely any repeats over our two-week stay.

Every interaction, from service to spa treatments, is exceptional. The dedication of the entire team makes our stay memorable. Wakatobi is truly a special place, one we choose to return to again and again. No words can describe how wonderful Wakatobi is, from under the water to above, all the people who work here are so helpful and polite, you will feel pampered and want for nothing but to return.

The entire experience was amazing! The staff were attentive, often anticipating our needs before we asked. The residence was lovely. On the boat, our dive guides and crew were fabulous. My dive experience was especially enhanced by their patience and support, making dives fun and anxiety-free. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive to every detail, helping with currents, masks, and spotting sea life. The tours and activities were wonderful, from the village tour to an early morning bird walk. Dining was exceptional, and spa treatments among the best I’ve ever had—truly a highlight. Assistance with photography and equipment was invaluable. Overall, every aspect of the trip—from diving to dining, tours, and personal care—was unforgettable. I can’t wait to return!
