Our second stay was also absolutely flawless. Everything here is special! Huge praise to the founder for creating a concept focused on nature conservation and sustainability. Nothing here could be better for ensuring wonderful, happy, and unforgettable days that will remain in our memories. Huge praise to all the team members at the dive center and the boat crews — one of the crew looked after us wonderfully. Another big shout-out to all the food and beverage service staff, and last but not least, to the front office and the many hands that maintain and uphold this paradise every day (room service, gardeners, technicians, etc.). We are planning a third visit, and our friends are equally fascinated.

This is the best diving I have ever done in 30 years of diving. All of the staff are the most helpful and gracious I have ever met in 50 years of traveling. The staff are as magnificent as the reef!

There are so many repeat divers- a sign of a well-run operation from before you arrive until after your departure. The world’s healthiest corals can be found at Wakatobi and surrounding waters.

From our perspective as two former divers in their seventies, knowing Wakatobi exists is rather like having an amulet in your pocket, something to be touched in the dark days knowing you can return. We shall be thinking of you throughout the long British winter and are already planning our next visit.

As a solo female traveler. I cannot recommend Wakatobi Dive Resort highly enough! The food and accommodation were excellent. The highly knowledgeable and helpful dive staff created a relaxing & enjoyable experience. On the guided boat snorkel trip or enjoying the house reef I always felt safe, relaxed and mesmerized by the abundance of sea life. Thank you!

We spent 21 days as guests on an island and at a dream resort that is truly one of a kind. We have not regretted a single day, and it is exactly the right time to enjoy everything to the fullest. It is impressive how every wish is read from our lips with such friendliness and naturalness. The joy of their work is written all over the faces of every member of staff, which rubbed off on us every day. The snorkeling trips to the unique reefs were particularly impressive. Our guide was everything you could wish for on such trips. Before each snorkeling trip, the special features of the reefs and the animal and coral world were presented and explained to us on large boards. Simply fantastic and a unique experience for any casual snorkeler. Immersing ourselves in the colorful reefs with their many different fish and colorful corals was another special experience that we will never forget. Many thanks to the entire team, and we deliberately don’t want to exclude anyone. At this point, it’s always the overall package that counts, and that was simply unique. This vacation will always remain in our hearts. This is a place you absolutely must come back to.

This is my third visit here, and the resort has lost none of its uniqueness. Friendliness, service, attentiveness, and a feeling of comfort leave nothing to be desired. If you are looking for the best, Wakatobi is the place to be.

This was our family’s third visit and the resort remains uniquely unparalleled. The combination of breathtakingly healthy reefs and fascinating marine biodiversity, paired with flawless service and incredible comfort, is truly world-class. The team of staff at Wakatobi is your “Secret Sauce” to a most wonderful stay. Smiles, greetings, helpful and kind—Really, everyone is so great! Sure, I gained weight, but all the new tastes and textures were worth it. The dive team is one of the smoothest operations I have yet to experience. So smooth and never a thing out of place. When I had an issue the other day with an O-ring on the inflator hose, a BC from the boat was instantly offered so I would not miss a dive. Then a staff member saw the commotion, came over, did some magic, and all was well with my BC. Must say the staff members involved are crown jewels in your team; they truly make dreams come true on land and in water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wakatobi. Everyone from the dive masters and instructors, the boat crew, restaurant staff, and all staff around the resort are very helpful, friendly, and professional. The food is amazing! And of course, the dives are incredible.

This is absolutely one of the top three diving destinations in the world, and the currents aren’t too strong, so it’s perfect for all divers. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday! We’ll be back!

Guy and I just finished our fourth visit to Wakatobi for our 20^th anniversary. As usual the diving was world class and the staff were extraordinary. We definitely will be back sooner than our 30^th! Thanks for make it special!!

Food is superlative, and the restaurant staff and villa monitoring staff are excellent. The guides are fantastic.
